“Postcards” Series Set to Premiere on Netflix on May 3

Hamisha Daryani Ahuja is set to captivate audiences once again with her latest project, “Postcards,” which is scheduled to premiere on Netflix on May 3.

 

The new series, produced by Ahuja’s production company Forever 7 Entertainment, follows the compelling stories of four individuals whose life’s journeys are filled with a rollercoaster of emotions – from joy to frustration, from grief to triumph, from love to heartbreak, and everything in between.

 

In an Instagram post, Ahuja expressed her excitement about the upcoming release, stating that the series would be premiering in over 190 countries to an audience of over 260 million people.

 

Postcards” features a cross-cultural, star-studded cast, including renowned Nollywood actors Sola Sobowale, Richard Mofe-Damijo, Rahama Sadau, and Tobi Bakre, as well as Bollywood stars Rajniesh Duggall and Nancy Isime. The series was filmed across India and Nigeria, offering a unique blend of cultural perspectives.

 

This is Ahuja’s second Nollywood-Bollywood collaboration, following the success of her 2021 Netflix original, “Namaste Wahala.” In a statement, the director expressed her excitement about bringing the stories of “Postcards” to a global audience.

 

“Postcards is a story that everyone can relate to in some way,” Ahuja said. “Set in Cosmopolitan Mumbai and Lagos, we follow the story of several characters whose lives intersect in a series of life-changing events.”

 

With the anticipation building, fans of both Nollywood and Bollywood can look forward to the captivating stories and cross-cultural narratives that “Postcards” promises to deliver when it premieres on Netflix.
